The Back Office, LLC, is an accounting automation company based out of West Des Moines, Iowa.  Its current focus is providing accounting-related automation solutions within the automotive industry.  Established in 2001, the growth of the business has largely come from word of mouth, a testament to the quality of service that is delivered by our company. The key to its success is due to a simple belief held by its founder Bill Frommelt, “If you want the best accounting automation solution, you need to have it designed and developed by an accountant who knows how to develop, not by a developer who is trying to make sense out of accounting”.  

Its core solution, “Accounting Link,” was developed by Bill, working hand-in-hand with a group of automotive repair shops looking to replace their outdated in-house processes.  Accounting Link has grown to what it is by continuing to listen and work directly with customers who use it every day.  This personal “hands-on” approach has allowed us to identify needs and offer additional solutions such as data conversion services. Who better to design and develop a process to convert financial data from one system to another than an accountant who is meticulous about the numbers and their integrity?
